Nothing beats Grandma's Pound Cake!  For a little something different add 1 can coconut with a tsp. of coconut flavoring.

Ms Pat, Osceola, PA

I made the Grandma's Pound Cake for my in-laws. My FIL told me that it taste as good as his mommas which is a big deal! As much as I wanted to be able to take the credit, I had to tell him it was a TGC mix! He was impressed!

Everyone loved the Pound cake- they were amazed how moist it was.

Additional Comments: Most popular mix sold was the Grandma's Pound Cake. That was the first time I had made it as a sample and it was very good.

The pound cake turned out wonderfully in spite of having to sub 1/2 cup of applesauce for a 2 egg shortage. Nice flavor and texture. Cut it into 1-2 bite cubes and into the cake carrier. The carrier was passed around the room 2-3 times and I still had gals coming up afterwards wanting one last bite!
I even had one person tell me that she used to own a bakery and it tasted identical to her wedding cake recipe! They were shocked that it was a mix!
So blessed to have such fun, tasty, affordable, and helpful product line to sell!!
