I made the beer bread today. All I can say is YUMMMMMMMMMM!
How
much easier does it get? Put the mix in a bowl, add 12 oz. of soda.
Then put it in a greased bread pan and bake. It almost tastes like a
breakfast bread. It is awesome. I am going to sample the rest to
friends. Otherwise I will end up "piecing" it until it's all
gone! lol
This bread is great!

Mixes- Did You Know? (Fun Trivia!)
Did you know that we used to sell a Beer Bread mix that you bake in tin can? Strange, but true! You would add a little beer to the mix, pour into a used tin can and bake. Over the years, we perfected the recipe and now our Beer Bread is a top seller!

Shaker Jar, Skillet Grilled Catfish, Beer Bread, or Crab Dip.
Attach a note to the mix stating: “Thanks for being there when you were “kneaded” and for “rising” to the occasion, large or small. Thanks for never “loafing” on the job and for helping others “heel” with TLC. No matter how you “slice it”, you do a terrific job!”
Cowboy Cuisine Basket
Buy a craft cowboy straw hat at Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby type store for about $2, turn upside down, put in red bandana for filler (.88 cents), add Chili Cheese Dip, Crowd Pleasin’ Cowboy Stew, and Texas Cowboy Cookie mix. (or other mixes like Beer Bread, Ranch Dressing, Lone Star Soup, etc)
This can also be done in the Denim gift box for about the same cost!

Fisherman Gift Basket
I took a small tackle box and filled it with the Hand- Painted fish bag, Beer Bread and Granpaw’s Beer Batter mix, and Corn Fritter/Hush Puppy Mix. I surrounded the mixes with bobbers and cute little baits. I wrapped it in a shrink bag and put a green gingham bow on top, and the customer LOVED it!!! She said you are so on my father’s day list!!!
